Situated in the bucolic Tuscan hills of Chianti, this estate offers the quintessential Tuscany vineyard wedding.

The quintessential Tuscany winery wedding - the Borghesi Estate & Vineyard, a historical (1667) farming estate occupying over 400 hectares, is among the truly Tuscan hills of Chianti Colli Senesi region in a tiny village called Scorgiano Monteriggioni. It is family run and devoted mainly to winegrowing. Their wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in estate-owned vineyards. Their vineyards cultivate Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes, they produce excellent quality wines. They also produce olive oil with a mixture of Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo olive varieties, and a small amount of Pendolino. They harvest between the end of October and the beginning of November.

The estate is only 40 minutes away from Siena. You can see the towers of San Gimignano in the horizon.
Distance from major airports:

• Perugia airport (80 km) about 90-minute drive away, is the closest airport, with regular flights to London Stansted, Brussels and domestic destinations
• Rome's two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino (200 km) about a 2 hour drive away, and is the better choice for flights to major UK airports and international destinations
• Florence airport (125 km) is also about a 2 hour drive

Distance from Train Station:

• Name of station: Stazione di Siena in the town Siena: serves trains to Rome, Florence, Milan and Venice. It's a 40-minute drive to the estate from Siena

• There are taxis at the station - they are there till the last train arrives.

  • welcome snack of home-made breads, cakes & jams (in the kitchen of each apartment); use of the swimming pool and barbecue & Wi-Fi in the common area
• 2 Flats/Apartments (self catering)
  • 1 apartment (Rufini) with 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed & 1 bedroom with 2 single beds + 1 armchair that converts into a single bed for child only up to 12 yrs old) + living area/kitchen + fireplace; 1 bathroom with shower. Sleeps up to 5 people.

  • 1 apartment (Fattoria) with 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed; 1 bedroom with double bed & single bed; and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds) + kitchen + Living area with fireplace; 1 bathroom with bathtub & 1 bathroom with shower. Sleeps up to 7 people.
• Room tax: € 1,50 pp/night for up to 5 nights. This tax is to be paid for ages 12 and older. The guests pay this directly to the owner at check-out
• € 500 security deposit (cash) upon arrival to be paid directly to the owner.

• Accommodation is self-catering and every kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Additional items include an Italian stove-top, coffee maker, kettle, hand-held blender, electric oven, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, radio-CD player.

• Double-sized beds cannot be divided into separate single beds
